Self-care: 7 simple habits to release tension
You do not need to change your life: small gestures repeated count for more than a big resolution that lasts a week.

Start small
When we rush, the body builds up tension in the neck, shoulders and jaw almost without us noticing. These habits are short, free and can be done at home or at work.
Seven habits you can keep up
- Breathe slowly for two minutes on waking or before bed (more in conscious breathing).
- Stretch your neck and shoulders every few hours if you sit to work.
- Walk for twenty minutes outdoors, ideally without screens.
- Look after your sleep: regular times and dim light at night.
- Take some time without your phone, even if it is just one meal a day.
- Self-massage your hands, feet or neck with a little oil.
- Set aside a moment for yourself, with no goals or lists.
The value of touch
Respectful, unhurried touch helps many people relax. A tantric massage with shower or nude tantric massage session can be a good complement to these habits.
A note of caution
Self-care complements, but does not replace, healthcare. If tension or stress has been with you for a long time, speak to a health professional.
